Both American History X and Lake of Fire have become regarded as American classics which are taught in film schools and discussed as cinema art. "Above the Sea" has won many MTV awards, and Grammy Awards music video for the famous Johnny Cash video “God's Gonna Cut You Down” with cameo appearances by Bono, Johnny Depp, Kanye West, Patti Smith, Terrence Howard, Iggy Pop, Brian Wilson, Keith Richards, Chris Martin, Sharon Stone, Lisa Marie Presley, Flea, Chris Rock, Justin Timberlake, Kate Moss, Sir Peter Blake the creator of Pop Art, Sheryl Crow, Dennis Hopper, Mick Jones, Jay-Z, and Owen Wilson.

Tony Kaye is the most awarded British commercial director in the history of advertising. He made several well-known music films, including the video for "Runaway Train" by Soul Asylum that detailed a number of missing kids all over the world. Twenty seven missing teenagers returned home during the run of the music film. This was commented on and applauded by President Clinton. It also won many Awards. His iconic Dunlop commercial changed the world of advertising.

The movie “Detachment” starring Academy winning actors Adrien Brody and Marcia Gay Harden won 8 international awards - The“Cartier" Revelation Prize” and “The International Critics Prize” at The Deauville Film Festival, the Honorary “Maverick Award” at the Woodstock film festival, the “Grand Prize” at the Festival de Cinema Valenciennes, The “Best Artistic Contribution" at the 24th Tokyo International Film Festival.
